I understand you can use a computer monitor to duplicate the S970 window. --- Is it possible to use a TV to do the same job?

it depends upon the input options of the TV.

High Gary thanks for being there. The S970 has an out RGB to into Mini D- sub 15 pin. The monitor (computer) I got today has the Mini D-sub 15 pin; it works fine.

Is it possible that a TV might have the same impute? I would be satisfied with a 15’ or a most a 19” TV screen. It is less money and it can be used as a TV if needed.

John, some TVs have mini D-sub connections, but you will have to either search them out online or talk with the TV dealer to determine which ones have it. My 55-inch flat screen has so many inputs I cannot count them all. I only use the HDMI input, though.

Gary I Googled and saw a converter RGB to RCA –which my TV has. Do you think that will do it. I’m not much on this area

That should work, John. However, the TV menu must have a selection for that input.
