Download the files and instructions from Korg. If you follow the instructions closely you will be fine.
You MUST first update to version 2.0, then to version 2.01. http://www.korg.com/us/support/download/product/0/516/
This is for PA4X. There is a different download for the Oriental. I do not know if one will work on the other. You might ask on the Korg forum. http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=75&sid=3213bafb8813567c4a2fecddbaa89ac3

The 4.5s could use a bit more bass. I have a set of the Eris 8s you can buy for $400. They are too big for my desk. frown

I don't think so, but i haven't done an A/B comparison. The bass on the 4.5s only go down to about 70hz, if I remember correctly. That's not great. The Korg manual doesn't list the Freq specs, so I can't say for certain, but I was underwhelmed when I listened to the 4.5s. My favorite small-ish monitor is the BX5 from M-Audio. They sound fantastic for most keyboards. They are $300 a pair, and sometimes go on sale for $200.

Uncle dave, do the bx5 speakers plug directly into the pa4x without the need for anything else?

Also what you think of jbl 305?

Yup - they are powered, bi-amp'd and wonderful!
