travlin'easy Senior Member Registered: 12/08/02 Posts: 15560 Loc: Forest Hill, MD USA	The only time I ever saw this many stars was when I was sailing 50 to 60 miles out in the Atlantic in my boat, where there is essentially little or no humidity. This is an incredible experience that very few individuals ever get to enjoy. The Atacama Desert is located in south America and among the most beautiful deserts on the globe. I have only seen it from the air, but it was incredible.
