Oddly enough, tonight is my last night of full-time work. I've decided to slow down, only do private functions if they pay really well, and smell some roses. Fishing, golf, etc. will now have top priority!

I KNOW that people at Ernest's are hoping that is just a cruel APRIL FOOL joke ...

Jerry, funny you should say that. The McDonalds on Rt9 in Somers Point (maybe Linwood?) has an old dude that plays for senior breakfast on Tuesday mornings!

Actually I DID get you all for April Fools Day, because it really was my last night of regular work. It was a reverse thing. I let you think it was a bad attempt at a joke, when it was true all the time. Looking forward to taking it easy!

Wow! No doubt that is a life changing decision, Don, for you, Ernest's, and your many fans - and of course your lovely wife ... Wishing you the very best in your 'semi-retirement' ...

Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to a big change in routine. I'll be able to go to Oklahoma more to see my son and his family there. Not yet though, I have a private party to do today at 1:30. It's only half a mile from my house so will be a piece of cake. Literally a piece of cake because it's a birthday party! I have another one Wednesday too!
