Congrats John
I like my S970 for certain things, but it is not in the same league as the Pa4X. Of coarse the added bonus is that you are back in familiar Korg territory.

Why did I go back to Korg? Because it goes to a greater depth that its competitors. Now that is opinion based on my needs and desires. Yamaha is a great keyboard, and when I heard Eddie perform I knew I would own one. My favorite will always be a Kn7000; I played one for many years. I bought four Kn7000 at different times and sold all four. The Korg is the closest to the Kn7000 with a lot of additional great features.
The purpose of my post is to honor Yamaha owners, one keyboard is only better than the other because of individual taste. There is no put down here. Another reason is my dear friend Eddie, he calls himself a Yamaha man, loves his keyboard. He is firm in his belief, Yamaha, Yamaha. Did you read his post? As soon as I get my Pa4x he is coming over to see and play it. Aaaaaaaah,
Just one more Pa4 owner wishing you the best with the Korg. I bought mine from Frank a Audioworks and could not be happier. Frank is simply the best dealer in the business. He bends over backwards to please and gives the best service in the business.
The Pa4X has a superior keybed, very smooth and responsive. I'm another guy who sold my T-5 for the Korg. The case is metal, very trim and looks great. You will love it. Lloyd
Great expressive sounds... full sequencer... MP3 playback... great build and size. Every keyboard has it's strengths! Do your research and you'll be happy!
