I just sold my much loved Roland VP-770 (Vocal Ensemble 49 key keyboard.) I bought it in February of 2009. They sold new for $2195. I worked at a music store and got a demo deal direct from Roland. I used for a few gigs... used it for a few recordings. So, it's been sitting in the bag for at least a year and I was thinking about posting it on eBay.

Well, 4 year ago, when my son was born, I put the Roland on my website under used gear. No one ever emailed me about it until this past Friday. OUT OF THE BLUE!! And he lived only 80 miles away... he drove to me!!

Just over 8 years of ownership, I made a profit of $200 over my initial investment. One man's "trash" is another man's treasure!!

I remember selling a piece of gear for more than I paid for it...maybe happened once.
