I saw John Mayall tonight at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills California. At 80 years old John is still a major force in modern blues music. Fantastic performance !!!

Just another example of how music keeps you young. We should all be so lucky as to still be 'doin' it' at age 80 (and showing no signs of slowing down).

Chas is right. I never feel as good as when I'm on a bandstand. It's best of all when I'm plying with others of similar experience and attitude about music.

Just thought of the tune "Yours' is the only music that makes me dance".

Not exactly jazz but one of many examples of how fabulous music is, and how completely it can complement and/or define life.

Please excuse the ramblings of an old musical "warhorse, but it's been a fabulous ride. And you folks are a significant part of that.

Be well, and keep playing.

R.
