Yes, but i think the technollogy and innovation didnt come with the companies name... But with the developers that worked there..

This one is sadly lost forever... But they and GEM where the innovative companies pushing arrangers forward...

let's honestly just look at the big picture, ......
TODAY'S Music scene doesn't Equate with an Arranger KB (yes I said it I know its shocking to some eek2 )
but this in itself is the driving force in it's ever fading popularity.
And it will continue to do so in years to come,
...everything has it's time.

Arrnagers are worldwide still the best sold keyboard instruments (in numbers)

You should for once try and not compare the USvarranger market with the global market. Those are 2 very different things.

When Technics organs & keyboards closed down, most of the developers went to either Korg or Yamaha, (As did many of the demonstrators) so the influence of Technics is still out there.

Although GEM is in the ELKA currently they are in the works for an arranger, rumor has it and we will see,and I have the GEM WK8 which is the same as the sk880 my opinion is that the GENESYS was still the best of them all, there were alot of features that were finalized on the Genesys, just to name a few on the WK series the midi outs were closed and the drums were not as good as I would have liked.

If that's the case please show me any of todays
International Touring acts that have an Arranger kb anywhere on the stage,.....
maybe Worldwide in Living rooms I'd say but thats about it. I'm not knocking Arrangers they have treated me very good thru the years but times are changing and you gotta go with the flow.

If arrangers are a dying breed in the U.S., I’d better hang on to the two I’ve got. Increasingly, I’m using them, along with Band In A Box, to create wav file backing tracks for solo work. In that case, I guess it doesn’t matter which keyboard you use on the gig. And, guitar, too, at times. But, I hope we do see new Yamaha arranger models sometime.

Thats only the top od the bill... big touring acts dont make numbers sell

Its people at home and playing on local markets and weddings that dont have a band at their hands that use arrangers.. because they require the versatillity..

Top acts have different needs, because they have a base player, drummer and guitarists at their crew..
