What new is in store?
In Audya pack is the same.

According to demos that i heard; they are not new styles..converted from Audya or other Ketron series..

This is true, years and years it goes around with the same styles, a little bit rearranged. The sound of Audya is top, drum's loops are great, but styles, they are also good, but try to go ahead, find some good DJs and make some modern styles. And of course a new sounds for right hand like korg or yamaha.

First of all, let me rave a bit. Now everyone knows I'm into styles. This style is easily the absolute BEST style I've EVER heard. The effects are superb. The bass is superb. The whole style is just one big masterpiece! This one certainly raised the bar by which others will be measured...

Secondly, in my opinion it is the best rendition of ANY style I've EVER heard. Maybe it's because it's exactly my kind of style - a mixture of rock & ballad. What a talented player indeed!

AJ, if this is an indication of things to come, I am certainly looking forward to it. Great talent went into this one - well done!!! It would certainly make an six year old Audya come alive again!

I certainly hope the panio part is part of the Trading Pop style - especially for the intro & ending. If not, you should consider making it part of the style.

I absolutely love that style of piano playing & how I wish I was gifted enough to produce same. Please use much more of those in your future styles.

I can't make out for certain if you did multiple track recordings adding onto the style or whether all of those pianos and background guitars are actually part of that style. That's now apart from the lead instrument playing, that is.

If they are only layered recordings over & above the original style, then it's no good for a demo as it creates false expectations that could not be re-produced by playing live, especially by a novice like myself.

I say again, a lot of talent went into that demo & hopefully also into the style. I would love to see more of those.

How I wish for midi sections of that type of piano playing that could also be browsed into a style track!!!

The demos created where done using just the content of the SD7 with AJAMSONIC package (or Gold Pack) and multi-track was NOT implemented (else that would be a demo for sound/sequencing and not styles/Style modeling as we want to show).

Style play, lead voice play and occasional use of the STYLE MODELING (which allows you to bring in Piano, Guitar or Brass/Synth .. etc melodies into the style) is what was used. The Piano (Grand) heard in the beginning and towards the end is played live with the right hand! If you pay attention, I had to STOP playing while I call in the MODELLING parts on the screen - which is why when you hear say the distortion guitar part that was dialed in, there is no 'lead voice like Piano ...etc - since I cannot be touching the screen and playing at the same time! If you also listen carefully, there are times when because I change chords a little 'late', the guitars do not quit 'follow', but that's the 'cost of playing live! These demos can be created by any end-user using the tools on board and so they are an accurate representation of the instrument - once this package is installed. Without the Gold Package, you won't have access to some of the new sounds that are incorporated into the STYLE MODELLING feature so ... as you know with the AUDYA series - you can take KETRON's current GUITAR-1 model and replace the instrument with one of the new sounds from the Gold Package .... the notes played are the same (same player) but the instrument is changed. Balance out the volume, add a little reverb and chorus, pan some instruments left and right so no speaker 'feels' too busy and use any of the new Gold Package styles, and you have what you hear in the demos above.

Pretty simple actually .... and of course, you have to put in some feeling as you play because the SD7 utilizes your 'expression' too.

You played that one brilliantly. It really made a lasting impression on me. Cannot tell you how many times I listened that demo.

There seems to a be nice varying rock guitar sort of riff playing in the background in what sounds to be variation 4. I compliment you once again on the excellent use of that great style.

The way we program styles is also expanding such that the style 'breaths' a little better... best explained when you try one :-)
