Would like to hear from ALL new Korg PA4X owners and what are their likes and dislikes. Are you pleased with the Songbook and Set List entries. Would also like comments on styles and voices. This forum

forces and make comments. Should make Korg owners and future Korg
owners make better decisions when it comes to choosing a board.

I've only heard good things about the PA4X. Do you own one ?

As I've mentioned many times, I love mine. Great new sound generation source, excellent styles, live sound, wonderful vocal processor/harmonizer, Songbook is great, abundance of real-time controls.
There is a problem with the screen. Several users have reported, as well as me, that the lock-down mechanism has failed. It doesn't affect the usability, but is something that should be addressed when it happens. I have an appointment to take mine to Dallas for them to fix it.
I think I've read of 3 or 4 others that have the problem, so it's probably quite isolated.
It's by far the best arranger I've ever owned. Not perfect, but I probably won't be in the market for another one in this lifetime!

Yes the new Korgs are nice ...but everyone is just waiting for the next generation of Yamaha arrangers which should prove to be awesome in many ways!!

DITTO to what Don said. Sound wise,the Audya is the only board that compares with it(for me).

Is there a good video showing the set list process on the PA4x? I would love to see one!!

I doubt there will be anything revolutionary from Yamaha. If anything they will cut more features. Look at Montage.

But it looks like ther is a major patch coming one of these days as indicated by Paolo in hte above topic on the Korg forums.
