The reason I have the S970 is because I can leave my Tyros5 mostly at the studio and use the S970 for small gigs. It's a great keyboard for light weight to transport, with onboard speakers and many of the voices and styles are compatible to Tyros. Sorry, but I also forgot to mention that when you can expand it with all expansion packs, it becomes even more powerful with many more unique styles and voices. I'm lucky because I have them all.
