Hi,

Look, this is going to sound kind of weird, but we're a little worried from a music point of view. It's been annouced recently that our favorite UK Sci-Fi series, Doctor Who is due to come back in 2005/6. We're not that much interested in who gets the lead role, although we'd like to see Mr McGann reclaim his crown; we're more interested in what's going to happen to the theme music.

The last editions of the theme music (movie included) seem to sound like ____. We know a lot of you have published MIDI works of the theme. Perhaps it's time to boycott the BBC and say this is how we want it to sound...

Just a thought (comments to email address at www.bbc.co.uk/cult)

As said, just a thought...

Regards,

Lucy & Mark (Michie excluded as she hates Daleks)

Glad to hear the show is coming back. I remember the original and updated themes after Tom Baker left. Great actor by the way--my favorite Doctor.

Anyone know what synths were used for Dr. Who theme? I still get goose bumps hearing it. Wish there was a CD of Dr. Who music, but I've never seen one.
