I do find it interesting. I guess that's why it sounds better than previous PSRs.

To my ears, my S970 has been a pretty big step up from the S950 I had.

Again, to my ears, my S970 is right up there with my Tyros 4.

How much further can they go in improving the sound quality? Not talking about any new features, only the sound of the voices and styles. They sound pretty convincing to me, now.

I suppose they will always be able to tweak the sound quality and realism, but it won't be drastic, because, like you said, they sound pretty convincing already.

Future improvements will be mostly focused on a greater number of sounds, and features.

My S970 sounds very convincing to my audiences...I get compliments on the sound all the time and that includes credit to my Bose Compacts.

Unless there would be something pretty radical in sound coming down the road, my guess is the audiences I play to wouldn't notice change.

Mike that is a GREAT find!

Very interesting to know this info for piece of mind.

I wonder if there is a similar spec somewhere about other models such as Tyros 2/3/4/5 ??

Nick, I don't know about this kind of info being available for the Tyros series. If I find it, I'll share.
