Aaauugggghhh, you beat me too it, Tony. I was just about to send you my condolences . However, the 'Iggles' performance was nothing to write home about either. Geez, you never know which Giants team is going to show up. BTW, did both teams play the entire game in fingerless mittens?

There was nothing I could do but 'man up' to that horrific performance ...
I prefer to think that e-girls fans kidnapped the GIANTS team and put a bunch of imposters out there ... everyone had a bad night - the players played bad, the officials screwed up calls and penalties, even the time keeper screwed up !!! ... it was like an April Fool's joke in October ... a game in which the victors could not be proud, but only less embarrassed by their performance ...
I would love to be a 'fly on the wall' in the GIANTS team meeting today ...

BUTT UGLY was watching the Ravens blow another one by a couple points. At one time the Ravens had the best defense in the NFL, but all that has changed during the past few years. Our offense can score a crap-load of points, but the defense cannot defend against any pass or run, lately.

Two words - FREE AGENCY. I think I liked it better in the old days when players spent most or all of their career with the same team.......but then we wouldn't have the parity in the league that we now have AND, the players would all be earning minimum wage while the owners got richer and richer. Gotta share the wealth with the guys in the trenches.

It wasn't so much Eli as it was the terrible O line play. That and the Eagles D combined with stupid mistakes by the Giants decided that game.

And Bradford looked good ? Give me a break ! Let's see which team switches QB's first .

If I'm being brutally honest here, I don't think either team is going anywhere this season. In fact, if anybody is going anywhere, it'll be one (or both) of the head coaches. You gotta' be a real diehard Eagles fan not to question some of Chip Kelly's moves this year.

I hate to admit it too but neither team is going to go too far.
Coughlin will probably retire and Kelly has a good chance of being fired.

This is the way I look at it. The Saints have the wonderful opportunity to be the first in the history of the NFL to be in their awful position and go on to win the Super Bowl. 1) Because he came up BIG when he had to;
2) Because it is a TEAM game ... one person, one play, does not win it or lose it ...

Yes, chas, but in every game each team has opportunities for success during the game, so that it shouldn't come down to one play, even at the end ... just sayin'
But it's always the success or failure of a play at the end that people remember ...

Tony, as a musician you know how important it is to end big. Even if you screw up most of the tune, all will be forgiven if you END BIG .

If you can't understand it's a game of inches, you are either a new watcher or a halfA$$ watcher. Ha ha! How many games I have watched where if the ball would have bounces 3 inches south instead of north the other team would have won the game .
