Damned, I wish my fingers moved that swiftly and accurately. What an incredible list of demos.

Thanks for posting them,

You're welcome, Gary. My fingers don't move fast, either. That's why I play slow songs. smile

I enjoyed Sultans of Swing a lot. Will find time to watch the rest. My fingers actually do move that fast, but I don't always know where they're going! smile

That's possible, but I wouldn't know. I don't have Bose compacts.

Donny, you have an S950, right? If so, how does the sound quality compare to the S970? Do you find the S-970 sounds better?

Except for the larger display they are almost identical for the most part,..S970 audio styles sound a bit more refined then previous on the S950. A few mega gutars are more active within some styles.... But aside from that not a big difference at all. Hoping to see what becomes available from Yamaha next release with
TYROS 6 (?) or S series units in the future. Like I said at this point sound isn't an issue anymore IMO they all for the most part sound really good it's all about the navigational features, and design, weight, keybed, tilt display/size, inputs/outputs positioning, knobs & sliders, VH,.

You're absolutely right. I mean, if a keyboard already sounds good and realistic, like the S950, how much more can they improve it? The improvements will have to do more with the other things, like features, etc.

Regarding the keybed of the S970, I read on some forums that it's better than the S950. Can you confirm this?
