For anyone interested - I recorded this live today straight out of my Bose L1 Compact. I used a Zoom H2 recorder. It is about 25 minutes of my gig today - mostly a just sit and play gig. There has been a lot things posted concerning the SD7 with few if any samples of people actually playing them live. There are still many things I have yet to learn about Ketron keyboards but each day I figure out something new which helps me improve the overall sound I get. The songs are oldies which fit well to the audiences I play for. Below is the link to the file.

Hi Deane,

Tx for sharing. The SD7 sounds good. Was nice to hear it in action.

All the best my friend,

Well done Deane. As with Don the Ketron SD7 serves you well and it must be gratifying to play it to the audiences. As you know I have opted to wait for the new Korg, which should not come as a big surprise really to those familiar with my music. Still I was seriously tempted in acquiring the SD7. Shame about the Ketron back up service but personally I have not a very high opinion of the way the Italian company cares for its customers. Count yourselves lucky to have a guy like AJ, but not even he can move mountains that have to be imported from Italy.

regards,
John

Hi John,
Unfortunately you are correct here. I know AJ is very frustrated at the delay in getting what he wants for the SD7 from Italy. It is really sad because of all the keyboard I have owned, including Rolands, Korgs and Yammies I like the SD7 the best and enjoy playing it more than all the others. We will see.
