I was struck at how old fashioned the display looks next to the S970. However, touch screen is a great feature that Yamaha should adopt. It frees up precious real estate for other features on the keyboard panel.
I think that this early in the keyboards's launch they should provide a mind-blowing demo instead of this video which is more of a tutorial.
Looks is one thing
As long as functinoallity is top knotch, but while there is a huge inprovement over pa3x there is still way to many oldfashioned windows stuff like drop down menus that do not work well on touchscreens. How many drop down menus are in ios? None, because apple ( as well as google) realises that things like this dont work in a touchos..
I have said it a few times before, but korg needs to up their touchinterface, same on Kronos, detailed edditing requires a stylus, which by my standards is unacceptable on a keyboard
