Here's a tip,

I get a lot of questions from the Yamaha users lately with regards to AJ's Latin styles, just by them listening to his demos on his web. I'm not at all into Latin styles, so I never bothered to audition those properly.

Well, I went through all those styles tonight & I have to say: Wow!!! Awesome stuff. His bass sections on all those styles are superb to say the least. So I checked & saw his bass volume is nice & high and reverb set to 20 for most style bass parts.

I then went through all the other onboard Latin styles, cranked the bass up, set reverb to 20 & saved those as new styles (Rember, you CANNOT save any styles modified by AJ to the original name without loosing the usefulness of the style totally...Be very, very cautious of this) Viola, those Latin styles really came alive!

So now I'll go through every style on my Audya & do the same for the bass parts. This will keep me rather busy for awhile.

Anyway, thought I'd share this tip/suggestion with you all.

Cheers,

Henni

Henni ... there you go ... giving away my secrets :-)

The editor on the AUDYA is superb - just needs everyone to tweak so it is comfortable for them.

Latin/Caribbean music has a unique hunger for bass and drums ... don't try those settings with a Jazz/Waltz style :-(
