In Gary's response to my Mustang Sally he told me he uses the same style for Marie Laveau. As a former singing storyteller I can really appreciate that Loisiana bayou tune. After listening to Gary's version, I headed to the 'net to search for the lyrics. Found a Bobby Bare version on You tube. What a great song! Thanks for turning me on to this through Gary.

It's a great song and always goes over well. Sometimes I feel like growling, sometimes screaming and I generally do it a tad faster that Bobby Bare.
Years ago, Susan's mother was my most ardent fan. Her name was Marie too. She would grab a mic and do the screams for me. Sure do miss her!
