It's a long time since a local ruffian dropped me for smiling at his girl friend during a Gig, happy days, I then spent the night in a local hospital and had to wear shade's for a couple of week's. During that time I met my wife to be, if I remember right it was 47 years ago. PS I was so busy coiling cables at the end of the Gig I never saw him coming if I'd seen him I could taken evasive action or at least ducked. I was a hell of a lot more desirable in those days. Nothing personal at all, and based on the thread subject I thought that after you viewed the video, you felt you needed to smile more while performing ... all I was saying is that WE often have our own image of what we look like, especially when we are performing, and a self video can show us where we might make improvements if necessary ... Personally I always think I look like I did when I was 25 years old, but one photo or pass by a mirror quickly brings me back to reality ... _________________________ t.

Hi Donny, I have to say we were a hell of a lot smarter than your lot, the place we played at in Blackpool would not let us on the stage without a jacket and tie. What amazes me is the number of OMB entertainers I have run across along the eastern seaboard over the past three decades that look like they were dumpster diving just before they came to the job. I took one of my ADs to lunch a few months ago, just to thank her for all the years she put up with me. She said "I have to tell you that you are the best dressed entertainer that I know and believe me, the residents really notice this as well." She's a very nice lady, gave me a big hug and kiss before we parted that day and said she will really miss me when I retire in a few months. I'll miss those hugs and kisses as well.
