A few months ago, someone asked me to perform this song. I told the lady that requested it that It would be much more appropriate for a female singer. She said, give it a try, just change the words to suit, and I think you'll do a fine job with it. I did what she asked, the audience absolutely loved it, I was amazed at the response and have been performing it ever since. So far, no complaints - just complements. I guess I must be doing something right.

Attached is the style used for the song and it is performed and recorded on my PSR-S950.

All the best,

Gary

Thanks Jim. What amazes me is there have been nearly 50 downloads, but only one comment here. C'mon guys and gals, if you think it sucks say so, but please tell my why it sucks.

Nice job Gary clap just watch your phrasing timing, ....
I do this song all the time when I want to slow down the room and get the dance floor real close.

Donny, phrasing has become a real challenge because of my shot to Hell lungs.

Thanks for taking the time to listen,

Gary when I read your post I had some doubts; I know the song well. After listening I felt you did a great job. You captured the feel of the song.
I would buy it if it were in album.

John C.

Hey, did you ever put together an album of you?

Thanks John, I really appreciate that.

Yes, I have made 11 CDs that I use for gifts to current clients, and also to send to perspective clients. I would be more than happy to send you the latest one if you wish. Just email me your snail mail address and I'll try to get it out within the next few days.

Sounds fine to me. Nice style. I don't do that song. Maybe should.

Gary,

Sounds real good to me ++++ clap

Plus a nice dance feel ++++

Nice Sax licks at the end too like the original recording.

Ron, in Florida Eddie Shoemaker's nephew :-)

Thanks guys - I really appreciate your comments. The song does get them on the dance floor, too.

All the best,

gary I did forget to mention those sax solos & riffs were so low volume wise in the background you were playing? I would prefer them much more up front to compliment the song groove.

cheers
