I download a midi file and I tried on my KN6000. The drums sound was very bad. So I check the drum track and I found exactly at the same time it play 2 times the same note. I tried on computer it play well. You could try by enter 2 same note at exactly the same time in step mode (2 X snare drums).

I realize they do this to have a more loud drum sound in a midi file.

How to automaticly remove just duplicate notes ???
The KN7000 do the same ??? or may be with the 128 polyphonic ??? ok ??

Hi,
I couldn't find a function in my kn7 sequencer that could remove duplicate notes.
This feature is available in some of the software sequencers, though I'm not sure if it works unless it's an exact duplicate?
The only other way that might work would be to load the midifile into the kn sequencer, and use drum edit. Possibly a time consuming exercise, though, still easier than doing it in the normal track type.

best wishes
Rikki
