Yes, we can confirm that the new KETRON SD7 will be in Detroit at the KETRON AJAMSONIC workshop next Thursday and Friday.

While some folks will be at this show trying out the SD7 in person, others will also be trying theirs out ... at home (yes, some of those who ordered early will be getting their units sometime next week, pending all going well at the US Customs office this week). Due to the limited supply, orders will be filled on a first order / first serve bases ... but they are coming.

Thanks in part to our re-structuring of KETRON in the US and our strong collaboration with KETRON Italy, products will now be shown, marketed and release in a timely manner. Together, we are moving forward - and we thank you for your continuous support and suggestions.

Aj does this mean we are getting closer to seeing & hearing some MORE Video demos of the features if the SD7 since more people will have them in their hands & at the Event in Detroit?....people want to know more!!

Yes ... especially demos from end users too (I hope) showing how these features are used to enhance their performances...etc

Customs still 'doing thier thing' which could mean a slightly later delivery for the rest of the shipment..... :-(

However, we do have 1 SD7 now ... being prepared for the show.

It's out of my price range but I'd like to see and hear it anyway. Actual arrangers and demos are few and far between in my part of the music world. And, maybe I'll get to meet AJ, we've done business before.

You could always sell the hammond & s950?...just saying to get the sd7..

There is no gag order. It's brand new. AJ has the only one in the U.S., except for the ones setting in customs in N.Y. They should be waiting for him when he gets back after the show.

What's the closest comparison in the Yamaha line.....the PSR S950? Curious mostly.

Well, there were probably no SZ members there, except A.J., and he had to travel back home and I hope he is busy loading his resources into the pre-ordered SD7s!
Taking care of customers takes priority over prospective buyers!
I do hope there are more videos coming soon.

Ketron would have LESS prospective buyers & MORE Buyers, if they would only show more details of the product,...just sayin'........
I for one also hope for more SD7 videos,before Yamaha takes all Ketron's wind out of their sails and releases a NEW Model arranger very soon.

Maybe there weren't enough participants at all? This can happen, Ketron is still developing the North American market, demand for arrangers is not huge anyway, and if noone from this forum went there... I hope Ketron will have success with this model. The MidjPro seems to be excellent except the strange bugs.
