Poolside BBQ gig...

very busy day for me 4 shows 1pm , 2 pm 4:30 pm and 7:30pm

I play at a "camp" home on Caddo Lake, usually Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends. This year the party is on Saturday. Family atmosphere, barbeque and all the trimmings. . . They have an atrium and huge fan for me.
I will start about 2:00 and play off and on until about dark! Long day, but totally relaxing atmosphere among friends and great people. My friends and family are invited to come too.
It's fun to crank it up outdoors occasionally!

I'm playing at an upscale Jewish retirement community, a Memorial Day ceremony where a retired Air Force Colonel reads some WWII letters from a book, then recites Flanders Field, I play Taps, God Bless America, America The Beautiful, then it's off to my son's new fiance's home on the shores of the Monocacy River in Frederick, MD for a cookout. Yeah, he's gonna get married, again. If the weather cooperates, my wife and I will be sailing this weekend and have a cookout on the boat.

After attending Mass on Monday morning to remember all who served,Lydia and I (and 2 other couples) will be celebrating Memorial Day by flying into Barcelona, Spain for 2 days, before boarding a ship for a 12 night Mediterranean cruise ...

Wow! Nice trip, Tony. The last time I was in Barcelona was 1960 - I imagine things have really changed since then. And, a 12 night med cruise - double WOW!

Tony have a great trip! Not sure you'll be back in time for us to get together but heading to Florida June 13 after a couple of gigs on Thurday and Friday. Going there to try to fix my situation.

I have 3 1 hour senior programs, 9:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:15 p.m. Mucho singing, mucho driving, mucho dinero!
