As you know DNJ, I've had a couple of those too, and they are great mics. I just prefer the way the Senn makes me sound. We all have different needs and requirements.
As I recall you got that mic from HankB!

Don.......I also have the EV ND967....that is the one I got from
Hank B rest his soul, when I visited you guys in Shreveport......it also is a terrific pro Vocal class Mic much more suited for
less feedback on a noisy stage or playing with a band etc,.......
I carry it always as a back up also.

I have the E-855 in my office/studio and there is no handling noise associated with this mic whatsoever. The other handheld mic I have here is the Samson Q7, which is no longer made, but has been replaced with the Q8, which is a slight improvement over the Q7 from what I'm told. The Q7 is a very high quality mic, again with no handling noise as well. I would recommend either of these mics for any vocalist, male of female.

thanks Guys I think I will give a 945 or 935 a try not sure what one yet got to narrow it down I mic a grand with a 835 it works pretty good .

945 and 935 are pretty much the same mics.

just pick up a 945 i will see in a few days I think it will be a improvement over the 835
