I have an SD4 and like the ability to change patches from the buttons in live playing situations. With the SD1000 I have to use Band in a Box (especially for the upper voices) but that product is really not designed for tablets/touchscreens.

I really like what vArranger does but I don't need all the other features (or pay for them) when all I'm looking to do is easily select from a dozen or so favorite instruments. Does anyone know a good solution that is Windows 8 / tablet friendly for this simple purpose?

Thank for the tip though. Look like it would work, but I pulled the trigger and bought vArranger. Looks a lot more versatile for grouping instruments, and I'll have my tablet anyway. Once less box to carry (and power) is very appealing for the difference in price.
