It will come as no surprise to most of you that I am backing up every word Abacus is saying here. What's more, if you realize that in those days the TOTL arranger was in essence the same as the 'scaled down version' ( PA1X = PA80 = PA50 ), ( PA2X= PA800)
I will even go as far as to say that all that you have heard in the demos what can be achieved with the Korg Micro Arranger, which is identical in Rom samples and styles to the PA80 and PA50 and subsequently the PA1X. ( not taking into account the use of external RAM samples, of which the PA1X can host 128Mb ).
I guess he also mentions one of the main reasons why I have stuck with my PA800 rather than updating.
But what seems to me one of the main things we can learn from this is the fact that every arranger keyboard owner who does not play Korg should add the Korg Micro Arranger to his or her set up............and of course my KMA Resources smile smile smile

Regards,
John

People keep in mind that you do not have to own the newest board to sound good,if you program a good style with the correct level mix down, it will sound good on mostly all old keyboards. John I do have the KMA and I think it is the best backup board of all time.
