A Midi file is simply a set of instructions telling the keyboard what notes to play. It is not recorded music. You can of course record (create) a midi file, but it will not do anything if not connected to a sound source.

A Technics midi file and a general midi file are the not same because of some of the commands and instruments. However, you can load a Technics midi file in your Kn7000, then save it as a general midi file.
I think I have that right. (smile)
