Up until yesterday I had problems with my new Ketron SD1000 sound module not working properly. The active sensing message ewas causing the SD1000 to bug with the Midi Port.

I have since been put onto a company called "Midi Solutions".
Their various product have built in Midi filters, except for products called Thru Boxes and Power Adapters. I bought a Programmable Input Selector.Connected it up between the digital piano and the SD1000 with Midi cables and it works perfectly.

I am having the same kind of probles with the MIDJPRO, receiving continuous MIDI signal, and therefore acting herratic and sometimes freezing. Due to the flaws in the first versions of the O.S., I blamed it on the bugs all the time, but now I realise that it could be the same case like yours...
Can you, please, point out a direct link to the product that solved your problem? Does it need to be preprogrammed?

Regards, Daniel.

P.S. I've digged deeper and found your explanation on another forum, regarding the Midi Solutions Programmable Input Selector. Is that the problem solver?

Hi Fellas,
Can the SD1000 be used live without a computer? In other words, is there a dial to turn to locate patches or sounds?
Thanks Frank
