This is one short example of such an alienation I recorded with my former MoX in 2012. I'd be interested in other 'unusual' covers of Xmas songs.

Returning to more recognizable versions of Christmas pop songs, this is my live piano version of Driving Home for Christmas, just two-hands piano plus dry brush swing pattern.
I played it by ear (the sheet notes are from a different piece).

FINALLY! My all time "LEAST" favorite Christmas tune is listen-TOABLE! Thanx for the transformation. I have always hated that song ... no matter who sang it. You've given it new life!

Guess you are referring to the first one, it has been so overplayed by radio stations for nearly 30 years starting every November...

This is a "raw rehearsal recording" of a temporary band I join (we get together very rarely). It is a funny German Christmas song from 1914, here in a "Trash Dixieland" version. Trumpet, banjo and bass were played by me on my MoXF and Integra. The members agreed to upload it without mentioning their names :0

Great stuff, Rosetree!

Here's my own version of a dixieland style Christmas song.

All parts were played on my EWIUSB using a VST called WIVI Band except for the drums and guitar which I generated with Band In A Box.

Good King Wenceslas

Thanks for the music,
Dan

Thanks! I really like the brass sounds of your version. Very realistic. And nice arrangement.
