This year's ladies night out diamond sale was fantastic, the ladies, as usual, looked fantastic. Got hugs and kisses from them all, and yes, I love my job.

I had a day off today, so I decided to have the van serviced, get a hair cut and do some minor grocery shopping. While on the way to the grocery store, I stopped at the jewelry store and gave the ladies new pens, 2015 calendars and a small token of my appreciation for them putting up with this old codger for so many years. I gave each of them a miniature of Jim Beam Honey, a relatively new delight that is really flavorful. And for me, it was more hugs and kisses from each of them.

Yep, I sure miss all that hair that I once had - loved it even more when the ladies used to come up behind me while I was performing and they would run their fingers through my hair. Carol and I were at a party when this happened once, and she said to the lady behind me "It doesn't work anymore - I should know!" Everyone, including myself, got a big chuckle out of that.

Just 8 more Christmas parties, plus 3 NYE parties, then New Year's Day and I'm off for three glorious months. Well, not quite. I'm pretty sure I'll be playing at least a couple nights a week in the Keys. Fortunately, two of the NYE parties are early in the day, then a late nighter for an old friend and classmate.
