I use the same On-Stage Mic Boom attachment. Bought a decent boom attachment with the telescoping arm. I have been using the Ultimate Support IQ2000 Double X stand for 10 plus years. I always stand to play and it works really well for me. To tear down... Push the boom up... Loosen the back knob a bit... Rotate to be in line with the rest of the stand... Tighten the knob and away you go.

So much better than hauling an entire mic stand with a boom.

Shuey....I love my Iq2000 Double braced
X Stand with memory lock also,...with the quik lok Qlx4 mic 30mm boom.
