What ipad music reader are you using?
Do you like it?

I am looking for the perfect ipad music reader.... Which means it should be able to

1) read pdf music sheets
2) play the music sheet to give an indication of the sound
3) has online store from which to buy new sheet music
4) allows me to share sheetmusic with friends
5) convert a picture i take with my ipad from my paper music sheets into a readable pdf sheet music
6) allows me to make notations on the sheets..
7) be controlled over midi for page changes
8) handle both sheetmusic as leadsheets as chordsheets
Did i forget any important features you deem unmissable in a sheetmusic reader?

Anyone got any suggestions?
There are so many available in the itunes store, it would take me ages to figure out which is best...

JMO, hands down unReal Book. I downloaded and played with ForScore, it just wasn't for me. Good luck with whatever you decide.

To answer your question #3, unReal Book doesn't have a store you can purchase from.

forScore is amazing! The features are exactly what I need, but the quality and reliability have been great pluses for me.

I use unrealBook as well. Have been since it first came out. The developer is very responsive, and is a musician himself. It is purely a PDF viewer though; I don't think it can "play" a score off a sheet or transpose a sheet; it does not use some 'custom' format - just regular PDF. But very flexible in terms of features for musicians - Set Lists, MIDI support, metadata/keywords (database-like features) for things like genre, year, style, composer/creator, lots of other data fields, etc.). Lets you annotate a page etc. Lots of features for sending files to other musicians, sending/receiving files, sending/receiving Set Lists with others, etc.

If anyone using urB needs help getting started etc. feel free to send me a note and I'll help if I can ...

As I am thinking of the iPad music reader connected to vArranger.

Do you know if any of those programs can be controlled by an external message by wifi/bluetooth/midi?
