Peter Baartmans is holding a on line class on the Tyros 5.
Hopefully it will be of some benefit to Tyros 5 owners.

It will be live at 3:00PM east coast time at the Music Center
today. Maybe we can learn a few tricks.

Here is the link: Peter Baaartmans Tyros 5 Class

That will be followed by a SPELLING class. Might want to set your alarm for that one too.

I am all set up for 9 pm european time
Lets hope its a masterclass, and not a t5 promotion

Maybe he can answer some questions considering The YEM, and why its still underperforming

Yes, but the tougher the audience...the sweeter the applause.

There goes an hour I'll never get back smile

Maybe they should educate the typical GC sales person..before he ask questions grin

Seems more like an introduction to sell rather than a class...I would have liked to see the guys challenge the arranger players that tuned in...maybe show some advanced features that are not being used..

Oh well...let me see if I can find a Casio class on line.. grin

It was an amusing show, not much new...

baartmans has been playing the same tunes now for over a year
Its a good thing blake was there with some fresh things.
Baartmans kept looking at his watch the seccond half of the class..
I think he is turning more and more into a salesman..

But about one thing he is right... Or atleast he has me agreeing with him....
-The sound of Yamaha comes close and is often better and certainly more playable then VSTs
- the Yamaha DSP section can compete with the best VST effects...

A total waste of time ! Just another Tyros 5 sell. Ya better teach yourself as Yamaha has no intention of showing you anything. Fooey ! Lloyd

I was sleeping and missed it, despite Tyrosman5 giving me a heads about it. By the sound of it I guess I was better off sleeping.

IMO, The best presenter is Bert Smorenberg, but he is more into synthesizers. You couldn't resist his MoX video presentation, even if the MoX/MotifXS Grand Piano lacked realism.
