Hi,The settings with my kn7000 (midi parf setting) to my ketron sd3 its done.I save the settings in the sd card (folder call midi setting)
everythings was working OK,but if I play a sequencer and after coming back with a style ,all the setting that I save in the sdcard ,part setting all gone
Is there a way that I can save these settings
I can tell you it took me 2 months to do these settings from the ketron sd3(arranger module)
thanks in advance

When you save on Sd or floppy, on the final SD SAVE or DISK SAVE screen there are three pages.

This had me confused for a very long time, I didn't realise that there were 3 pages.

Go to Page 2 and you will see that (normally) saving User MIDI Settings is set to NO.

Clear all of the save settings and then set User MIDI Settings to YES.

This should save a .md file that you will be able to recall in the future.

Practise it first and I will be grateful to hear if all goes well for you.

There's a little info about .md files here:

http://technicskn7000.com/technics-instruments/technics-file-types/kn7000-file-md/

I will expand that in the future. I'm still waiting for technology to advance so that we can have 30 hours in a day laugh

Best wishes,
Mike

Thanks for your help,I try to save as you told me but no luck. The setup in the kn7000 :
Part setting=Right 1 to 1 and octave to 1
Right 2 to off
Left to off
Control to off
Chord to 1
Input and output Transpose to ON
After on the kn7000 I mute right 1 and I mute acp
This is the set up to play the ketron sd3 arranger styles and voics=no problem
If I want to play on the kn7000 styles I take off the mute of right1 and acp and also I take off the key start of the ketron sd3=no problem to play on the kn 7000.
I had save these set up in the sd card like you told me
After I play a sequencer file and went I go back to the ketron with the kn7000 I have to make again the same settings
I try to load the settings from the sdcard but no luck
I thing the ketron sd3 arranger module is good only with an accordeon ,piano and guitarist
So Monday I will call my dealer to change the ketron sd3 for the Korg pa900
I can tell you thst the ketron sd3 works fine with a Yamaha arranger keyboard on midi2
Thanks again for your help

Ah I see...

First you must save the User MIDI settings in the keyboard! After that you can save them to SD Card.

Set up your keyboard as you like it.
Go to Program Menus > MIDI > MIDI Presets.
Go to Page 4. Here you can save 3 MIDI presets, including the split point.
(Page 3 is for recalling the presets)

Now you can save to SD Card in the .md file.

I hope this helps.

After you play a sequencer then you have to reload the User MIDI settings.

Press the SD button to LOAD.
Go to page 2, here you must set everything OFF and then set User MIDI Settings to YES. This loads the .md file you saved earlier from your SD card.
Next:
Go to Program Menus > MIDI > MIDI Presets.
Go to Page 3. Here you can select one of the 3 MIDI presets, including the split point. Choose the one you saved earlier.

One possibility is that the Panel Memory filter used when the sequence was made had the MIDI option turned on. If the sequence used a control event that selected a panel memory, the midi settings at that time would be reset. I would first check to see if the Panel Memory filter has the MIDI option set to ON after the sequence is loaded. If it is set to ON, it should be set to OFF and the sequence should then be re-saved. Next time the problem will not be there.

Hold the SET button in the middle of the Panel Memory Buttons till the Panel Memory Mode page shows. Press the Page Hold button. Go to page 2 to check and set the MIDI Panel Memory option.

Hi,I thank both for helping me with the problem set up issue
Now I had done the decision to change the arranger module Ketron sd3 for the Korg pa900,The ketron sd3 its a very good arranger module no tought. But my KN7000 is very precious for me,So I will wait for my pa900 and let you know my impression
Thanks again
The only mistake that I done it was when I exchange the keyboard Ketron sd5 for the sound module arranger SD3
