I am looking at buying the new Samsung Pro Tab 12.2 Tablet to replace my older iPad. Anyone here had experience with using PDF readers designed for musicians on an Android OS?

Mobile sheets is generally accepted to be the best reader for Android at the present time.
There are a few others and things should get better as they gear up for the Android market.

I'll look into mobile sheets. I also found a music stand holder from TheGigEasy that will hold the 12.2 Samsung.

In the meantime Deane, you will find that Polaris Office & Readers Hub should both display your music as a temporary measure.
I'm sure they will be on your tablet as they are on my partners 10" one.

I went Best Buy today and took along a thumb drive with a ton of PDF lead sheets on it. They displayed just fine and like you would expect, were very easy to read. I also took my iPad to make a side-by-side comparison. Pretty impressive I must say. Don't know if I'll spring for the $600.00 plus tax though.

I just picked up the Galaxy Tab 12.2 also. So far, I haven't found anything as good as Unreal Book that I had on my previous iPad. Still searching. The screen on the Galaxy is unreal though...very cool.

The new model is updated..faster processor, Jellybean, up to 64 gig card....it has the same specs as the Galaxy plus..

The one you linked is a year old model..

That is my problem right now with the Tab Pro. I am waiting to see what apps for musicians hit the market. But you're right - the screen is unbelievable. Tim, take a look at this one
