I just listened to it. It's not that good, but I'll upload it anyway when I get a chance.

Hi Tony, Good vocal, pity you don't have a Roland the Bk-7 / G70 has a cracking style for "Lyin' Eyes"

don it was more of a reference post if anything,....Since I was a kid I never liked the Eagles for some reason,......song is easy enough to play but I would attempt it due to the poor tracking VH2 in my S950.....I would only try this with a TC or Digitech unit... plus for the last three weeks been just getting over the flu been singing in a -1 mode just to get thru the gigs, Grrrrrrrrrrrr!
But I enjoy listening to everyone versions here for sure.

Ah, The Eagles; then Vince Gill. My favorite kind of country. In fact, my favorite country recording is Vince doing an Eagles song...I think it's called "I Can't Tell You Why".

My 2nd favorite is "Dirty Laundry". That's a "slam-dunk" among all old-time media guys.

That's GOOD STUFF!

I do a lot of Eagles songs, and the audiences seem to love them.

That's interesting ... I'm older than you Donny, but I've always liked the EAGLES ... A good number of years ago I was playing a steady gig in an Italian restaurant ... the lounge was set up like a piano bar with high stools around a baby grand ... I set up my KB at the keyboard end of the piano ... one young lady at the piano bar told me I would do a great job on Don Henley's "I'm Taking You Home" ... funny, but I never learned the song ...

Donny, I understand why an entertainer would not have the Eagles as a favorite. Even though some of the individuals developed a following (Timothy, Don and others), they were marketed and presented themselves as a group, and all their material was considered collaborations, rather than individual efforts.

Plus, the songs were mild political or personal messages, which are not appropriate for easy conversion to general entertainment.

Not your kind of stuff. There's plenty more, so NBD!

Yep my band plays "Dirty Laundry" which always goes over well. We also play "Get Over It" which has very funny lyrics.
