Col ... I thought the fx were a little overdone in "A Certain Smile" ... personally I will usually use just a little on standards like that ... country, rock, etc. is another story ...
That being said, it was still a good job ...

... a little Kenny Rogers 'growl' in "The Gambler" ? ... VH sounds good ...

Hi Tony, I've checked in Cubase and I used a Plate Reverb 24/76% wet/dry. I've trimmed the reverb done to 12% wet and uploaded the new version. Do me a favour, have another listen and let me know what you think.

PS: I always record the vocal flat so it's very easy to change.

crazy ... I was listening to the two versions and didn't hear the fx as much on the one in your first post and thought I was going crazy and then I saw both posts have the same version now ... rotfl

I enjoyed doing both, "The Gambler" was a real contrast great fun.

What's next, Country, Swing, Rock, Pop, Folk, Blues?

These 'ere arranger's are great bit's of kit, ain't they.

Don't matter what sort, they all sound good to me LOL
