Hi, Synthzone!

I was feeling a little festive this week , and consequentially came up with this little ditty.

The backing track was done with my faithful PSR-3000 using a style called CountryWaltz2. The bass track was replaced with a bass part which I played on my EWIUSB wind controller. The lead sounds were also done with the EWIUSB. The VST I used is a package called WIVI Band. The whole thing was multi-tracked in a program called Reaper. I hope you enjoy it.

We Three Kings

Merry Christmas and Happy holidays, Synthzone!
Dan

Good one, Dan. For those of you who are not familiar with Dan, he's one of the few individuals that does an incredible job with the PSR-3000's vocal harmonizer. He has it down to a science.

Thanks again, Dan,

Gary cool

Hello, friends.

Thanks to all who listened, and thanks for your kind words as well.

Bill: I am indeed in the basement again. It's been too darn cold around here to do much outside! mad

I think I may mix this again tonight. Not enough tuba and trombone and too much trumpet, methinks.

Thanks for listening,
Dan

Dan, almost missed this one...glad I didn't.

Excellent all around...love the phrasing...the EWI makes it so natural.

I love the arrangement.

HI, Ian!

Glad you enjoyed it. Being a wind based controller, the EWI (or EWIUSB) really shines when doing horn emulations, in my opinion.

If anyone is interested, here are a couple carols which I recorded last year. No arranger used on these - strictly EWIUSB with the WIVI Band vst.

Angels, From the Realms of Glory

Adeste Fideles

Thanks for listening,
Dan
