HI All,

Its been about a month with my new PSR S-950. Its a wonderful board barring the onboard speaker sound which I sorely miss from my previous S900. Is there any settings you could suggest where I could get it close to the S900 sound. Im sure there are several members who would have experimented and would be willing to share their experience.

Also, Im planning to buy the EV PL44 Microphone to use with the S950. Any comments on that. Is there anything better at the same price point.

Thanks and Cheers

Sunny

Sunny,

Just a few slight changes in the master EQ will make a huge difference. The standard smiley doesn't seem to work well with the S950, though. Just a slight increase in the mid range sounds and leave the highs and lows pretty much flat works well for me.

Gary. Thanks for the inputs. I agree with the smiley setting. It's not sounding as I thought it would. I shall tweak some more and see how it goes.

Cheers

Sunny

I left mine flat, then maybe slight adjustment for each venue, if needed.

^^^

If you need to EQ the overall sound ALL the time, with different systems, something is messed up with the basic sound!

Hi Diki,

How do you mean ? Hopefully theres nothing wrong with the speakers. I dont think so since they sound clear but the finesse of the S900 isnt there.

Cheers
