Hmmm, I can't see that happening. Tyros sells so well because of its smooth, compressed, CD-like sound, so why would everyone flock to Audya with its LIVEness, ergo, the antithesis of Tyros.

If anything, Audya should grab sales away from Korg. That's where the 'live' afficionados mainly hang out. Then again, Ketron's (in)famous initial availability and subsequent after-sales service would surely put the kibosh on any major buying shift.

Well isn't it true most tyros users are always complaining about the drum sets NOT BEING LIVE sounding? That's alone can drive people away if they had other great choices like the Audya......I think the Audya and Ketron in general always gets a bad Rep......... I have performed with and owned many Ketron arrangers thru the years & although they might not be as big as Yamaha they truly show effort in innovations year after year, it's an ongoing process.......and you dont have to keep buying upgraded kb's that honestly don't have many changes all the time. As I said in other posts as these kb's become more and more the same old model after model Audya might be the one to keep an eye on in teh arranger KB world....AJ is doing a fine job. clap headphone clap

Danny you must be made of money

I wouldn't say that. God has gifted me with an excellent job. However I must not abuse what I earn. I can purchase an Audya, PA3X or even a T5 but I must also justify it because I already have more than sufficient keyboards. The Audya wouldn't replace my T4 (and S950) because they are both more than I ever needed. So getting an Audya would be an addition.

Real nice clean sound, not drenched too wet with reverb. Nice style design. Outstanding drums. Congratulations. Hal

With the AJAMSONIC upgrade Version 3 (free download to current AUDYA series AJAMSONIC owners coming soon at www.Ajamsonic.com), all styles and sounds will be of such quality and more ....

It's coming ... AUDYA reborn yet again (and no, you don't have to buy a new keyboard)!

Thanks,

AJ

Wow AJ,

Thank you so much for making the upgrade to version 3 free. I'm really looking forward to it. Thank you also Sokratis. You guys make for an awesome team indeed.

Please gents, make these demos downloadable & post mp3 files here. I would love to listen to & keep these on my Audya.

Kind regards,

Henni

Great work, you got it right on . If were to walk into a club and heard that I would swear there was a good sounding live band . The AUDYA is an amazing Keboard and your programming top shelf all the way. The drumming was off the hook Dude.

Will these new styles be available for purchase to Audya users who don't own the AJAMSONIC expansion?

I think the styles demonstrated were just ok not even great and I mean no disrespect to the programmer . What heard in the gospel style was a very flashy drummer focused intro and ending and I have no idea what "gospel" type style was meant to be demonstrated but it was wide off the mark . The only thing that sounded remotely authentic was the live drumming because it was live . The rest of the instrumentation was just ok . There is lots of potential here and I respect the project and wish the audya well . But that was a C plus from a fan of the audya not a hater . The styles are everything to an arranger keyboard .

Thank you Sokratis & AJ..
For continuing to enrich to what is already an amazing board which i have the privilege of owning. Im grateful for the simple fact that something which is 5 years old still today gets upgrades and refinements without costing an arm and a leg..
God Bless
Ky
