Is anyone doing this song with styles? Since it is COLD outside I'm trying to work it up. (The SONG, fool.)
So far finding that Movie Ballad style on PA3X works pretty well. It's sort of a bear to get the vocals right though.
If it comes out decent I will share. I'm in the Christmas spirit!

Just because I am so busy and have been playing it and everyone really love the version. I am playing acoustic Guitar all song with the track and doing the lead voc it kind of a Vince Gill type of thing . Ron

RF is doing it in F#. I am a full step lower in Eb. Maybe I'll end up with it in E or F. I can hit the notes in G, but too much strain for my old bones.

Hey Don...I don't sing Country, but I love playin' it. My jammin' buddy is a really good Country guitarist, and we have a great time at the jam, throwin' in a Merle Haggard tune amongst all the R & B the other guys like to play.

I love playing Country piano, as the technique is so different from Pop and Rock...definitely a case of "less is more" for the most part.

My buddy used to say, "Sprinkle a little pie-an-ee over the top."

I'll be Home For Christmas is incredible. Man, that guy has some voice!

Well, I did the song at work and the Boss and his wife loved it. They had requested I do it. Got a standing ovation. Of course I didn't do it until late when most customers had left, just in case I screwed it up.
I believe it will be fine after I do it a few more times. It's a wonderful Christmas song.
