Hi Ian

I am flushing now... shocked
Thanks anyway! smile

I think you forgot to mention Michael Bedesem, who - beside developing his superb software programs - has compiled the PSR FAQ at http://psrtutorial.com/lessons/faq/PSRFAQ.htm - includes Tyros models too (despite the name).

Yes, Jørgen, Michael has been instrumental (pun intended) in me becoming nearly addicted to style editing with his clever StyleAdjust program that he made just for little ole me!

Plus Michael's excellent other software programs, and equally your own, that have enabled us to take our PSR/Tyros/CVP Arranger keyboards to places even Yamaha didn't think they could go.

Michael's FAQ's have been incredibly handy to all of us players and have got me out of a jam more than once.

I often think that both you guys, along with Joe Waters, and of course Nigel, as well as those who are dedicated to the support of Korg, Roland, Ketron and Wersi instruments have helped make the whole of the arranger community one we can be proud of.

Ian

Just a quick observation from somebody who wasn't there- After a short sampling of the posts, it seems it was more about the subject and less about the speaker; I only looked quickly but didn't see any bullying going on either..simpler times I suppose..

Yes Jørgen, I have watched Heidrum and Heiko do demos...fantastic players, and even though I don't speak any German, I really enoyed their presentations.

I also really like Sud Clavier demos...I speak and understand French fairly good (we took it in school) but I'm used to Canadian French which has a lot of slang and some differences in pronunciation.

Sud Clavier are so hammy and that makes them even funnier, and also holds interest.

We are so lucky to have such great contacts...when I first got an arranger, there was no Internet, and finding another player and staying in touch was very hard...that's also why I started making my own styles...I was forced into it...there were very few available, and the ones that were, cost a lot of money for only 6 to 8 styles.

Simon's site (SVP World) and your site were the first ones I was aware of.

Wow not a word about any Korg board then. Did I start the Korg subjects when I joined maybe in 2001?

Man I was laying brick and wanted to make all that money Donny, Dave, Gary, DonM and Fran were making. That's what got me motivated and got me started started.

This was very interesting indeed and I was able to see some of my posts (AJ) when I was still a student at Penn State. It didn't take me long to quickly realize.... I was the baby of the group! Very useful family then... and now.

Thanks for sharing Nigel.

As far as I remember, Nigel got/inherited Chris Hansen's board.
Correct me, if I am wrong.

Jørgen

Yes it was Chris Hansen's forum along with the G1000 forum. I just hosted them for him here at Synth Zone. After a while he decided to take a break from it. That's when it made sense to move it to this forum.
