After many month of search, I have just understood how KORG styles are working internally.

So, I will now start to add the KORG styles format to vArranger.

It will be so cool smile

Playing KETRON YAMAHA ROLAND and KORG styles with the same arranger smile

Still have work to do on Korg styles....

Good new these!

A side question - will it be possible relatively soon to use let's say Sampletank or HalionSonic or Kontact with vArranger? I am sorry if you mentioned that before and I have missed it! Thanks!

Congratulations!

I have been using vArranger for a long time with Ableton Live (host) and Soundfonts, Bandstand and Halion Sonic(accompaniment)and kontakt, Bardstown, Garritan and many others for my right hand voices. In addition, I use Antares as my vocal harmonizer.

It works very well - sounds excellent, reliable and effective. There is no noticeable latency. To make this happen you need a fairly good PC. It may even work on todays gadgets, e,g., IPads, tablets, laptops, etc.

Yes.
You can use your prefered VST host, and connect it with a virtual midi cable.

vArranger now includes an ASIO low latency synth, with SoundFonts support. So you can manage your own soundbanks like you want.

I will maybe include a VST host with vArranger later.

Frank, we can't use iPad to run vArranger, but some musicians are using the iPad as a touch screen for their PC with the splashtop app, who displays the PC screen on the iPad.

This is great news Dan. The best of all worlds.
A comment was made about the computer used for vArranger and I thought I would add my experience. I bought a rather cheap - about $400.00 Dell PC just to use with vArranger and I don't recommend doing that. When I first used vArranger I had installed windows on my Macbook Pro and it worked wonderfully. But, with the Dell the actual program ran ok but the sound was not as good as with the MacBook Pro. I just got a new MacBook Pro so I'll load windows on it just to use it with vArranger once again.

How are you going to deal with styles that use the Korg Guitar Mode?

Deane is speaking about the audio sound of the dell laptop. Not the vArranger sound.

I forget to tell you that some laptop are coming with audio software run by defaut who 'enhance' the sound. add equaliser, etc... Maybe if you had put it back to flat, it would be better.
It's ok for the inernal speakers of the laptop, but we don't need it when you play with a mixer and a sound system.
