How many members here use the Pa50 sd / MicroArranger still. With the event of the Pa600 is the a replacement for the Pa50sd and MicroArranger. Do you use think the KMA / Pa50sd is still good in a gigging environment? Will a Pa300 or a budget model be released or is the Pa600 the budget model.

I think you asked someting similar a while back... wink

I am one of those who still use a Pa50. I think it is still a good keyboard. Needs to be "arranged" to keep-up with the younger brothers, but still a very acceptable option.

There are reasons for owning a KMA – weight, weight, weight, and size.

I own one, John C

Gents....I had a pa50sd - traded it for a pa600 but then acquired the microarranger... love the triton sound engine...i don't use the km on gigs since i have transferred any style that i liked to the pa600...but the k/m is still a very useable instrument...stevec

Is the weight of a KMA and a master keyboard (plus whatever speakers you have to tote around) much less than simply a PA600 by itself?

The thing is, can anyone actually PLAY a KMA from its own keybed? I mean, more than one finger chords and a basic melody...

Diki, Yes once gotten used to. I do not consider the KMA a serious keyboard, it’s a diversion. There is no comparison between my pa800 and the KMA, that be like comparing apples with oranges, they both fall into different categories.

I enjoy my KMA, if my neighbor calls me over I would bring the KMA and add to the parity. But if I was being paid for a three hour gig the KMA would not leave my home.
