Thanks Sparky - sure brings back some nice memories of when I was playing lead guitar in the 60s and 70s. I still have some of their 33-1/3 albums around here somewhere. They were my guitar heroes.

Count me in as a Ventures fan. They were the primary group that got me interested in music in the early 60's. I think I've got most of their albums. If any of you like guitar pickin', check out the videos of Nokie Edwards, their lead player. Take a listen to his version of I've Got A Woman.

The Ventures and Santo and Johnny were instrumental in making me addicted to guitar and guitar music for life. I learned every note of every tune on every album.

There is talk of a Philharmonic tribute to the Ventures, which I'll work.
