Hi everyone,

I put all my new styles on a flash drive permanently into one of the USB ports. The Audya does not remember these when saving into a registry. The USB port is proving to be useless for anything you want to save into your registries. I moved my new styles back to the SSD.

I'm going to put some of my MP3s on the flash drive instead.

All the best,

Henni

That's not cool
Maybe AJ or Ketron can fix this via the next OS update

....This is a known issue since the first version, so nothing new.
With this fact do you think that Ketron will ever fix this.
They will response that it is not a bug and that it is a feature.

Sorry for being a little bit sarcastic, in gnerally I'm happy with my Audya - the only thing is that you havt to deal with the bugs by your own.

This is not a problem so there is nothing to fix. Just copy the styles you want to harddisk. By all means, use the flash drive for auditioning midi styles (by using key start as the start button is locked) but it is bad practice to try and insert files from a USB drive into registrations or to try and use them during live performances.

...as I assumed, no bug, a feature

joking appart

A keyboard in this high price class shall at least pop up a message if you are trying to save on a stick if it is not possible. In this case the behaviour is exactly like saving something on the internal hard disk. And if you do not know it, you are in the belief it is working, and later on you will recognize that you have wasted a lot of time.
Further on it is not documented in the manual that it is not possible.

--> and this for my opinion is a serious problem were Ketron have to work on.

My friends,

You all know that I am a serious fighter for the respect of the Audya. But to state over here that this feature is not a bug, is rather mindblowing. One should be at least warned about this in the manual.

I have two irritations with my Audya. The above is one. The other being that I'm not able to play my intros & endings direct after each other for as many times as I please. This should really be a small fix, but up to now it's been totally ignored.

Keep well all my friends,

Henni
