However, I am plagued by RIGHT Output cutting in and out; screen flashes, and periodic freezes.

I too have had the Audya freeze up about 6 times since the last update, this is an old problem not yet fixed, usually an organ key will stay on just one note stuck down, impossible to get rid of other than reboot. It appears to happen when I change voices rapidly to and from an organ voice and always an organ voice that sticks on. If I was gigging it would be embarrassing unless it happened at the end of a song. I think the quality of the sounds is being eroded by the technical issues, a mixture of software and hardware appears to be the problem. There is an acceptable level of commitment to owning and operating an Audya and I think this latest set of events may have tipped in favor of buying something else, at least you cannot say I have tried to be accommodating, I think MS might end up the same way, if they ever get market penetration. I think you need to stick with the big boys however many keys, live drums or what the hell they have. You need big numbers in the market to iron out all your problems if you don’t have proper QA, if you send out KBs that are going to fail with common faults and you don’t put them right, you are doomed, how long it takes for you to be doomed is up to us. Has anyone got an Audya that works perfect, not had a problem at all that is registered on SZ, if so can you tell us what your secret is.

If this was Toyota they would be out of buisness

Knowing that there are owners out there who have units the seem to be ok, that suggests that something went horribly wrong on the production line in quality control, so when are we going to either get the hardware and software fixes that we need, I am scared to perform with the Audya and the mounting problems are not making me feel any easier....

Does this mean that did change also the speed in the screen?? For example from 120bpm changed 125, 127, 130 ect??...
Very curious… I have not heard again something similar.....
Please give me more info about this and tomorrow I will give a report in ketron.....
If it is a bug will be corrected..
I think the next update will be release soon....maybe.....
Thank you...

Robbo,

Darwin’s theory of evolution and survival of the species said “ to survive and prosper you need to adapt” when the style speed goes up and down adapt your playing to catch up or slow down, if someone notice it, just say like me “my timing’s crap” sorry I can’t be more helpful. Are you sure it’s the Audya!!!

Rather it will be supposed to say again that I am not despite a collaborator of Ketron .....
I do not like I feel as if I am person in charge for that it happens .......
I have said again that I know all problems as a user, as also I give report in Ketron in any time all the problems that I see here...
I want to help the users of Audya….
My aim here they is to help as I know….
Only this...... nothing other…

Hi Sokratis,

not trying to inflame the situ, at the time I did,t look at the bpm, I was morre concerned with slowing down and speeding up with the tune, it was one of the accoustic tunes with the live steel string guitar strum, if that helps, and I do appreciate your help, and want to get all of the probs resolved, love the Audya

I have had my Audya 5 for about two mounths now and have had no isues yet. I play it daily and leave it turned on most of the day. I hope it stays that way. Had it out about five or six times so it has been bounced around a bit but I transport is as gently as I can. I hate to have to worry about the build quallity of it so I'm going to insure it and put it through its pace's. I think if I had problems from the begining like Tony and Skude have had I would try demanding a new unit. If that don't work, file suit. Or you could always take a little trip to the factory and poor a 55 gallon drum of whoop-ass on em if they don't comply.

Hanging/Sustain notes can be turned off (without rebooting the keyboard), by simultaneously pressing down ROTOR-FAST and ROTOR-SLOW buttons (MIDI RESET).

Thanks,

AJ

INT PHASE ERROR.

When the AUDYA is turned on, it 'checks' all other circuits and only when it gets a confirmation does it move forward. If the confirmation comes back with an error this code is displayed and depending on the error, it will either stop or skip forward.

INT PHASE ERROR - is associated with the Sound Card (loading initial sounds from the HD) and could be caused/generated if e.g. a low voltage/current from a device (e.g Mixer) were accidentally plugged into the AUDYA's output (as has been the case with 3 units here in the USA which we repaired at the US distribution center [CMC] - although this voids the warantee, we repaired those units at no extra charge to the customer).

This error is also associated with the HD - when the unit (during power on) tries to load the relevant sound files needed for operation. A HD in fatigue/damage/missing or bad clusters will prevent AUDYA from loading the essential files. In this case (and for the most part) a NEW hard drive is needed.

Thanks,

AJ

AJ,

Can you do this reset on the fly whilst playing and no one would notice, also you explain well why the INT PHASE ERROR occurs but you dont explain why the hanging notes occur.
