Got some news for you....

We have the go ahead at Ketron UK to start work on the next Style Update. Once again these will be produced by Robert Messier and released in the same way as before via the Ketron UK Style Update Website. Release is expected to be Autumn 2013.

We will be sorting through your submissions over the next week....and this is important: You stand a much better chance of having your style selected if each style submitted is supported by linking to 3 songs on youtube, vimeo etc. This will enable us to see exactly what you mean. Simply giving the name of a style or rhythm is not enough information for us to research the style. (Around 80% of submissions had no supporting comments)

And remember we are not looking at covering material already available on the Audya, we will be producing 5 new sets of Audio Drum Loops and it would be a terrible waste and a missed opportunity to repeat styles. After all it is very easy for anyone to make new styles using the ingredients available in Style View.

Even if you already made your submission - its not too late to resubmit. We will only include the latest submission to keep it fair. Go to Ketron UK Style Update Website.

Deadline for style submission is midnight June 18th 2013 (GMT).

Sorry I have not been around to follow up on this, the summer has been totally mad and other projects have caused some distraction.

Whilst we were very happy with the success of the first Style update, the response to style submission has been totally dissapointing and literally only a dozen people requested styles. Most of which are already on the instrument. We realy want to produce styles that do not currently have associated Audio drums. This is creating a delay.

Now things are back to normal we should be able to get on track. I would urge everyone to think seriously about the styles they need to see on Audya. If there is already an Audio drum loop suitable - simply use style remix to create a new one. Please feel free to re submit your requests.
