I used to have bk5 And I loved Roland styles.I would get it if it was $1800, not for $2800.It is too much.

I think I'm hearing about street prices well under that $2800 figure. Shop around.

Many stores will pad a price until they start to get shipments in. Might as well get top dollar from those too impatient to wait until supply exceeds demand!

With an S950 (only a 61) street for just under $2000, a lighter 76, with audio loops that actually loop rolleyes rather than one shot, a chord sequencer, and some seriously live sounding drums, around $2400 might not be a bad price point.

Diki, with the way Roland are now adopting their "World Pricing Policy" I would be surprised if the sell for anything less than c.25-2600. In the relative values of ones own currency units.

They are pricing items now for each countries Roland distributors to reflect the same price per unit worldwide. It is a pretty fine (as in tolerances) formula, and ergo leaves little room for dealers to drop pricing too much, as the $'s to Roland per unit are exactly the same world wide. The days of big margins are long gone!
